How to Create a Messaging Campaign
Website personalization is used to align your homepage with messaging that is curated to what your target audience is interested in.
How do I launch a Messaging Website Personalization campaign in Triblio?
Launching a personalization campaign occurs in four main steps:
- Creating your target audience
- Creating your campaign
- Creating your messaging
- Activating your campaign
Once you've completed steps 1 and 2, continue to step 3 below.
Messaging personalizations are used to change text, images, and links, and entire sections of one or multiple pages on your website.
Adding a Messaging Element:
- Navigate to the campaign where you want your personalization to appear.
- Under the audiences section, will be sections labeled "Elements for: <audience name>". Click the "Add Element" button under the audience name you wish to target.
- In the modal that appears, name your personalization and click on the "Messaging" button under Element Type.
- Click "Edit" next to the new messaging element you just created to open the editor.
Choosing Location
Messaging elements have two location options: single location and multi location.
- Single Location: Update any element on one page of your website
- Multi-Location: Update an element that is on all pages of your website, such as navigation bar or footer. Multi-location elements can be written using Regular Expressions.
To begin setting up your messaging element, configure the location you want to personalize. Most messaging personalizations occur on single pages.
Note: If this is your first time setting up a messaging element you may need to download our messaging Chrome extension.
