How to Build an Audience with CRM Data
You are able to pull over information from your CRM using Account Records, Reports or Opportunities to build audiences within Triblio. These audiences will build an account list and can be used for ads as well as personalizations.
As an example, let's say you would like to target all CRM accounts where the account type is 'Prospect' and they have an open opportunity in the 'Evaluation' stage.
- Log-in to Triblio and navigate to the audience tab from the left-side menu. You will see a list of all of your current Audiences.
- Click the blue 'New Audience +' button in the top right corner.
- Name the audience and click 'Save & Proceed.'
- Use a consistent naming convention for your audiences that every member of your team will be able to understand.
- You will now be in the audience edit module and to the right you will see an audience criteria that says {Name of CRM} Accounts (i.e. Salesforce Accounts or Hubspot CRM Accounts).
- Click on the CRM criteria and a box will be added under "Audience Criteria". Click the box to configure the Salesforce data.
- This will open a window with a drop down with the options to choose between Accounts, Opportunities and Reports.
- Accounts - pull accounts from your CRM based on an account field. In this example we will pull all accounts with an account type equal to 'Prospect'.
- Opportunities - pull accounts over based on their opportunities by choosing an opportunity field. For this example we will pull all accounts where the opportunity stage is equal to "Evaluation."
- Reports - build a report in CRM of the audience you would like to target and pull that into Triblio. A list of all CRM reports will load when you configure this criteria.
- Choose 'Accounts' from the drop down and the account field you would like to match accounts to - for this example we will choose Account Type. Click the blue 'Save Criteria'
- Choose '+' to create additional criteria. You are able to add multiple account conditions here if you would like to get more specific.
-
- Next we will add the opportunity criteria by clicking on CRM Accounts from the criteria menu again and clicking to configure.
- Choose 'Opportunities' from the dropdown and click the green 'Add Opportunity Condition' button.
- Choose 'Stage', 'Is Equal to' and 'Evaluation' and click save.
- This example is based on Triblio's opportunity stages, choose whichever stage is relevant to you.
- You are able to add multiple conditions for a tighter account list.
- You are done with your audience and it's time to build an orchestration !

How to Build a Firmoraphic Audience:
An audience built off of firmographic data in Triblio will not build an account list and therefore can only be used for personalizations. Triblio uses the IP address of the visitor to append firmographic data to that visitor.
As an example, let's say you would like to target all site visitors within the Manufacturing Industry, with more than 500 employees and over $1M in revenue. Follow the step below to build the audience:
- Log-in to Triblio and navigate to the audience tab from the left-side menu. You will see a list of all of your current Audience Segments.
- Click the blue 'New Audience +' button in the top right corner.
- Name the audience and click 'Create.'
- Use a consistent naming convention for your audiences that every member of your team will be able to understand.
- You will now be in the audience edit module and will see a section at the bottom right hand side called "Legacy Criteria" . The criteria are firm and can only be used for a personalization.
- For this example, you will click 'Industry.' If you know the industry NAICS code you would choose 'Industry Code' instead.
- Please note, Triblio will treat the NAICS codes you select as inclusive of any sub-codes.
- When. you click on 'Industry' a window will pop-up with the full list of industry options. Search for your desired industry to find the main industry and all sub-industry options.
- For this example, you would search 'Manufacturing' and click the green 'Add' button next to the top option - ' Organization Type is "Manufacturing", All "Manufacturing" Codes - to include all sub-industries of manufacturing
- Click add next to the industry you would like to target to add that criteria to your audience. If you would like to target multiple industries or sub-industries you will need to add each one separately.
- Next we will add the employee range of 500+ by clicking on 'Employees' from the right side criteria menu.
- A criteria block titled 'Employee Range' will be added to the audience - click on the box to choose your desired range.
- A window will pop up with two drop down menus.
- In the first you will choose between > (greater than), < (less than), = (equal to)
- In the second you will choose an employee range
- For this example we would like to target companies with more than 500 employees so we chose greater than 250-500:
- Click Save.
- Next we need to select the revenue range. Click on 'Revenue' from the criteria menu to the right.
- Click on the box that is added to your audience segments to configure the revenue. A window will pop up with two drop down menus.
- In the first you will choose between > (greater than), < (less than), = (equal to)
- In the second you will choose an revenue range
- For this example we would like to target companies with more than $1Million in Revenue:
- Click save to add this criteria.
- Make sure that 'And' is toggled between each criteria option for this audience. Learn more about combining criteria here.
- You're done with your audience! The next step is to build a website personalization and/or an overlay targeted to this audience.
- Once you push the campaign live, any visitor whose company IP address falls into these criteria will see the personalization you create.
