Why does this account have so much activity?
If looking at Triblio's Account Details Report, there are two types of accounts you are likely to see at the top of this list which appear to be showing the highest levels of activity.
1. Web Crawlers from Data Centers (eg. Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Hubspot, MacStadium)
Accounts that host data centers, such as Google or Amazon, will likely appear to have the most number of unique visitors coming in to your website. We expect to see these accounts with the highest level of traffic due to the nature of running data centers.
For example, Microsoft Azure is a data center that hosts a lot of applications, many of which have a website crawling feature built in. Since the app is hosted on Azure, the traffic from the crawler comes in from Microsoft.
We don't filter out this data since many customers are looking to track these accounts and the data center traffic will be mixed in with legitimate traffic. For more accurate signals on whether these accounts are showing legitimate engagement, you can use the Smart Score report which will show if these accounts have higher than average activity on your site relative to themselves.
If you do not want to see these accounts in Triblio's Account Details report, you can click into the Account Drilldown and, at the bottom of the page, choose "Hide this Account from Reporting". If clicked, it could take a few hours for the account to be removed from view.
2. ISP Accounts (eg. Comcast, Verizon, AT&T)
ISP providers also commonly will show high levels of activity. Triblio does filter out traffic from known ISP IPs so the headquarter account can be targeted. To get a true sense of web intent coming from an ISP account, the Smart Score report you highlight when an account is showing higher than average levels of activity compared to their own baseline.
