How to Integrate Microsoft Dynamics
Overview:
Integrating Microsoft Dynamics makes creating and updating audiences very easy. For example, if you created an audience for top accounts, Triblio could sync with Dynamics account fields. This means that as opportunities change, the audiences will automatically change to match so you don't have to worry about finding and uploading lists frequently.
Steps to Fully Integrate Microsoft Dynamics CRM:
- Authorize Dynamics Access
- Map Dynamics Accounts to Triblio
- Add Blacklist Accounts (Optional)
- Sync Account Records (Optional)
- Set-Up Revenue Report
- Sync Data from Triblio to Dynamics
- Check Sync Status

Map Dynamics Accounts to Triblio
Now that Dynamics CRM is authorized, you need to determine a field to map Triblio Accounts to Dynamics Accounts. In order for Triblio to read account data for targeting, it needs to read the domain. Configure where the domain field is in your CRM.
- Within the 'Basic Setup' section of the 'Microsoft Integration Management', scroll down to two '2. Dynamics to Triblio AccountIds Sync'
- A list of your account fields will be populated in the drop-down under 'Field to Match on Account for Domain'. Choose the account field that holds the website of the account. the standard field is 'Website' (If your account fields do not load into the drop down, please contact your CSM).
Add Blacklist Accounts (Optional)
If you have accounts (i.e. agencies, partners, your parent or child company) whose domain may be listed across multiple account records, you can choose to exclude those domains from any mappings. Doing this will disable any detected activity from the blacklisted accounts from appearing in Salesforce.
- From within the 'Microsoft Dynamics Integration' dashboard, scroll down to '2. Dynamics to Triblio AccountIds Sync' button
- An 'Account Ids Blacklist' window will pop up. Enter the domains you would like to blacklist during the account record sync
- After entering a domain click 'Add'
- Each domain will need to be added separately
- After you have entered all domains you would like to blacklist, click done
Sync Account Records (Optional)
Triblio will automatically sync with your account records overnight; however you are able to manually kick-start the process. This will use Microsoft Dynamics API calls to sync the records.
- From within the 'Microsoft Dynamics Integration' dashboard, scroll down to '2. Dynamics to Triblio AccountIds Sync' and click the orange 'Sync Account Records'.
Setup Revenue Report
To allow Triblio to measure the impact on your open opportunities, you first need to configure your Dynamics revenue report. The revenue report maps opportunity fields from Microsoft Dynamics into Triblio.
To configure the Revenue Report:
- From within the 'Microsoft Dynamics Integration' dashboard, click the green 'Revenue Report' button under 'Basic Setup'
- Click the green 'configure' button that pops up underneath. This will pop-up the 'Revenue Reporting Setup' dashboard.
- Choose your Dynamics fields from the drop downs that match the categories
- Deal Won: choose the field that holds the opportunity stage
- Is Equal To: choose the stage that means 'Closed-Won'
- Deal Revenue Field: choose the field with the money amount of the opportunity (typically 'amount')
- Deal Closed Date: choose the field that contains the date the opportunity was closed-won
